A time scale of years, a time scale of days.
Two viruses: one that behaves like a virus and a real one (COVID-19).
One that continues to spread over the surface of the Planet and, in doing so, paves the way for the real one to do the same. What humans did over years and decades to the natural world, now unlashes rapid changes in the natural world: spreading forest fires, a spreading virus, spreading migrants, … with consequences that will be felt over the coming years and decades.
Long and short time scales entangled. Humans and non-humans entangled. Like on a Moebius strip (Cat. Nr. 68).
